Monika Garcia

Ms. Monika Garcia received her Master in Forensic Science with a Crime Scene Concentration from The George Washington University in 2005. She has been employed by the Department of Defense as a Latent Print Examiner for the last 20 years where she actively processes evidence for latent prints, footwear and tire track impressions. She is also certified as a Latent Print and Footwear Examiner by the International Association for Identification (IAI) and serves as a member of the American Standards Board Footwear and Tire Consensus Body. Joining GW in 2024, Ms. Garcia currently teaches the online Digital Imaging Processing course for Graduate Forensic Science Students.
