The Association of Forensic Science Students (AFSS) enriches the forensic sciences educational curriculum through contact with agencies and individuals with professional experience in the field.

Local GW chapter AFSS events include seminars, speaker presentations, field trips and social events. Students, alumni and working professionals are welcome to attend and bring guests. Some events may require RSVP or ticket purchase.

Explore Field Disciplines

AFSS events expose students to multiple field disciplines and professional pathways. Events range from academic presentations to informal discussion of technology and techniques. Any current student or program graduate, or guest, may participate in these regularly scheduled events.

AFSS participation offers students the ability to network with professionals, academic authorities, other students, graduates and guests. AFSS fosters a feeling of community around the Forensic Sciences Department.
